IT was a contemporary, minimalist bathroom with an understated elegance that most impressed the judges.

Built by Absolutely Fabulous Bathroom Renovations at a home in Cooks Hill, the winning bathroom is an unusual rectangular shape and features a sumptuous deep white-pressed metal bath that is mounted beside a screenless shower recess.

Judges said the high quality of the tiling finish made an immediate impression.

The overall project presented very well, demonstrating the value of careful workmanship, they said.
